Youth 2 Work Partners Sign On
A new group of partners were welcomed into the Porirua Youth 2 Work Movement by Mayor Mike Tana in December 2016.
Partners Porirua is responsible for co-ordinating the Porirua Youth 2Work Movement. Executive Director, Michelle Robinson, says there are now more than 30 businesses, education providers and community organisations signed up as partners committed to providing opportunities for Porirua youth.
"We are working with our partners to develop initiatives that meet business needs - and that's not just about jobs. We're look at all opportunities including training, mentoring and future workforce needs."
