Young Employee Awards - Recipients 2017

24/11/2017

A big congratulation to our Outstanding Young Employee Award Winner, Tessa de-Barr from Backyard Café and the Dale Carnegie Leadership award winner, Jessica Pritchard from McDonalds Porirua!

The annual Westpac Porirua Business Awards event was yet another wonderful night - recognising the achievements and successes of dedicated people in our community. We had 21 applicants this year and our judges carefully debated their way to four finalists - Tessa de-Barr (Backyard Café), Salevao Savea (Connect Global), Beau Hartley-Tilley (Countdown, Aotea) and Jessica Pritchard (McDonald's, Porirua). We all sat on the edge of our seats, eagerly waiting for Michelle Robinson, Partners Porirua Executive Director, to announce the winner of the Young Employee Award for 2017, Tessa de-Barr. Surprisingly followed with another announcement for the Dane Carnegie Leadership Award to Jessica Pritchard. We are very proud of all applicants and finalists - what phenomenal and outstanding young people we have in our community. Congratulations Tessa and Jessica.
