Emergency Training with Local Schools

28 students from seven local schools, designated as Community Emergency Hubs, learnt how to use the Civil Defence Radio system. Regularly checking communications will be their on-going job.
Careers Event at Te Kura Maori o Porirua
“Find your passion and you will never work a day in your life”
The school year was off to a great start for Te Kura Maori o Porirua Year 9-13 students. A two day careers event, coordinated by Partners Porirua and school staff, saw local experts share their work experiences with students.
