Corinna School bike track opening

On a stunning sunny spring morning, an excited crowd gathered at Corinna School to celebrate the opening of their long awaited and hard worked for bike track.

The students spoke and sung beautifully, and Principal Michele Whiting welcomed and thanked the special guests. Once formalities were over and the ribbon was cut, the Principal and the newest student rode their bikes around the track, eagerly followed by the rest of the school.

This bike Track has been a wonderful collaboration between Corinna School, USO Bike Ride, Bikes in Schools, Partners Porirua and Porirua City Council. The contactors responsible for creating the track were Ground Force.
