Tū Ora Compass Health is a Primary Health Organisation (PHO) that provides a wide range of primary care services through 60 General Practice Teams and a number of other health care providers throughout the Wellington, Porirua, Kapiti and Wairarapa regions.
Commitment to youth
Tū Ora Compass Health is very proactive in its support of young people. They partner with the Poriria Youth 2 Work Movement to provide Youth Health Ambassador Cadetships. They also provide work placements for nursing students and sponsor nursing scholarships at Whitireia NZ. Through the Tumai Hauora ki Porirua Alliance a peer support Tuakana Teina programme is run in the young school of Mana College and support provided to the Youth Ambassador Programme.
